At Lumière, one of our basic principles is of sharing and of constantly educating ourselves through the rich medium of books. This value of sharing extends to pooling our knowledge and learning's not only about the studies that we conduct, but also to books that team members read, find interesting and worth sharing. A short synopsis of the book with the key aspects of the book is captured in a brief power point presentation that is presented to the team.

This method of capturing the essence of a book in a brief format works at two levels:

The presenter receives on going training on effective communication and presentation skills after distilling the essence of the book in a crisp, succinct and engaging manner. It creates the reading habit and a multiplier in the number of books one is able to read by oneself.
