The core activity in qualitative research
comprises of data collection using an interface
with the target respondent using a certain
interaction format. This can be via moderating
a depth interview, a group discussion of
4 individuals or observing the target. This
is followed by transcription, content analysis,
report writing and presentation.
A good qualitative researcher has a genuine
interest in people, excellent rapport building,
patience, and excellent communication skills,
both verbal and written. Client servicing
requires appreciation for client business,
clarity in communication and good presentation
skills.
Travel is a part of job for those who desire
to do so. At Lumière we offer a very high
level of flexibility wherein you can choose
your level of involvement from day one,
progressively increasing it to the level
you can manage with.
Once we find a person fit within our group
profile requirements, we put them under
a training program where the incumbent works
with a mentor on specific projects. Feedback
is provided at the end of each project and
each milestone is tracked to determine aptitude
and special strengths, gaps, and need for
additional inputs and readiness for independent
working. Training is a combination of classroom
sessions with the mentor, reading and self-study
tasks and on the job learning.
The personality that can best fit within
Lumière is a bright, energetic, down to
earth, fun loving, hard-working team worker
who takes the project as seriously as life
itself. If you think you have a fit with
the way we work at Lumière and would like
to consider a career with us, send in your
